1. Acceptance
By accessing or using the Mogammon website, installable web application, game services, or related features (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to agree to these terms. You are responsible for the security of your identity provider account, the accuracy of information you provide, and all activity performed through your Mogammon account.
Usernames must comply with the Service's validation rules and may not impersonate others, violate rights, mislead players, or contain abusive material. We may reserve, reject, or rename usernames when necessary to protect the Service or third parties.
3. Acceptable use and fair play
You may not:
- Cheat, collude, manipulate ratings or results, or use unauthorized automation during human matches.
- Harass, threaten, deceive, spam, or otherwise abuse another player.
- Probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass security, access controls, rate limits, or game rules.
- Access another person's account or collect information about other users without authorization.
- Use the Service for unlawful activity or to infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
4. Gameplay and rankings
Mogammon is provided for recreation and competition. It does not offer real-money gambling, wagering, cash prizes, or anything of monetary value. Ratings, rankings, achievements, cosmetics, and game records have no cash value and are not transferable.
Dice are generated by the Service. Network interruptions, software defects, abuse prevention, forfeits, and adjudication rules may affect a match or rating. We may correct, invalidate, or remove results and rankings where reasonably necessary to address errors, abuse, or unfair play.
5. Analysis and computer opponents
Computer opponents and post-game analysis are informational and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Engine evaluations, luck scores, skill estimates, and recommendations are not professional advice and do not guarantee a particular outcome or level of play.
6. Service ownership and license
The Service, excluding third-party and open-source components, is owned by or licensed to the Mogammon operator. Subject to these terms, you receive a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.
Third-party software and assets remain subject to their applicable licenses and notices. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of the Service or other users' information to you.
7. Third-party services
Authentication, hosting, analytics, realtime delivery, and other functions rely on third-party services, including Supabase, Google, Vercel, and Cloudflare. Your use of those services may also be governed by their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion using the support email published on Mogammon's OAuth consent screen. We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect players, investigate abuse, comply with law, or secure the Service.
Some records may remain after account closure as described in the Privacy Policy, including records needed for match integrity, other players' history, security, and legal compliance.
9. Availability and changes
We may modify, interrupt, or discontinue any part of the Service and may change these terms. Continued use after updated terms become effective means you accept the changes. We do not promise that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
10. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some exclusions may not apply to you.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Mogammon operator and its service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, opportunities, goodwill, or profits, arising from use of or inability to use the Service. Liability that cannot legally be excluded remains limited to the minimum amount permitted by applicable law.
